CalTrans is reporting that the rockslide has been cleared at Mystic just over the Nevada state line and westbound traffic is open.
Chain controls are still in effect over Donner Summit.Original story:All westbound traffic on Interstate 80 is being turned around at the state line due to a rockslide between Reno and Floriston.
The slide was reported in Mystic, just west of the Nevada state line.
There are no impacts to eastbound traffic.
The rockslide tore through some chainlink fence, and crews are working as quickly as possible to clear the road, according to a spokesperson for Caltrans.
There is no estimated time of reopening.
